What is a "variable"?
A variable is an attribute we score each resume on, such as relevant qualifications, years of experience, job tenure or writing quality. You choose them (on most tiers) and set how important each one is from 1 to 5.
What do the tiers include?
Basic uses 10 Relevance & Tailoring variables. Professional adds Quantified Results & Impact, Work History & Career Progression and Skills (50 total). Advanced adds Resume Sections & Structure, Writing & Content Quality and Formatting & Scannability (80 total) plus your own. Unlimited adds ATS & Technical Compatibility and Professionalism & Red-Flag Avoidance (100 suggested) plus unlimited custom variables.
What files can I upload?
PDF and Word (.docx) resumes. Each tier has a maximum number of resumes per batch.
How fast will I get results?
Your ranked report is emailed to you after we review your batch. Contact us for rush turnaround.
How does the free tier work?
Upload up to 5 resumes. We randomly select 3 of our 10 Basic (Relevance & Tailoring) variables and rank your candidates on them, so you can see how Expolious works before buying.
Do you make hiring decisions?
No. Our rankings are decision support. We score job-related attributes only; the final decision is always yours.
Is my data private?
Resumes are used only to prepare your report and are not shared or sold.
